HOW LONG DOES THE PHOTO SHOOT LAST?
A shoot usually takes between 1 and 10 hours, depending on the package chosen and the specifics of your event. The time can vary depending on the number of locations, people and personal requirements. I am always eager to help you figure out the best option for you.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE FRIENDS WITH ME?
Yes, you can bring your friends along for the shoot! This can help create a more relaxed atmosphere and add extra moments to the photos. I am always happy to see your loved ones to support you and make the shoot more fun and memorable.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?
At Lensation Studio, we recommend booking your wedding photography 6–12 months in advance, especially during peak wedding seasons (spring and summer). However, if you’re planning a wedding during off-peak months, booking with 3–6 months notice may also give you a great chance of securing your desired date. Early booking gives us plenty of time to customize your experience and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
CAN I BOOK A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION LAST MINUTE?
While we always do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings, availability may be limited, especially during peak wedding seasons. If you’re planning a wedding on short notice (within 3 months), we recommend reaching out as soon as possible to check if we have availability. If we’re unavailable on your date, we can also refer you to trusted photographers in the industry.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE, AND DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR TRAVEL?
Lensation Studio proudly offers wedding photography services across Melbourne, Regional Victoria, and Albury-Wodonga at no extra travel charge. For interstate weddings, we do charge an additional travel fee to cover accommodation, flights, and transport costs. Our goal is to make your experience seamless, no matter where your wedding takes place!
DO YOU OFFER PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Yes! Lensation Studio is thrilled to photograph weddings both locally and interstate. If you’re planning a destination wedding in Australia, we can work with you to arrange travel and accommodation logistics. We do charge a travel surcharge for interstate weddings, but we’ll provide you with a detailed breakdown of all associated costs before confirming your booking.
HOW CAN I CHECK IF MY WEDDING DATE IS AVAILABLE?
You can easily check availability by reaching out to us via our online contact form, email, or phone. Once we receive your inquiry, we will confirm whether your wedding date is available and can then proceed to discuss your specific requirements and preferences.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT TO SECURE MY BOOKING?
Yes, we require a non-refundable deposit to secure your wedding photography booking. This ensures that your date is officially reserved in our calendar. The deposit amount typically represents 30% of your total package price, with the remaining balance due closer to your wedding date (usually 10 days before). We’ll provide all payment details upon booking.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY WEDDING DATE AFTER BOOKING?
Life events can happen, and we understand that your wedding date may need to be rescheduled. If this occurs, we’ll do our best to accommodate the new date, provided we have availability. If the new date is unavailable, we may apply a rebooking fee to adjust our schedule. Please inform us of any changes as soon as possible so we can work out the best solution for you.
CAN I BOOK A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGE FOR JUST A FEW HOURS?
Yes! We offer flexible wedding photography packages tailored to your needs. If you’re having a small, intimate wedding or prefer shorter coverage, we offer half-day and a la carte options. We’ll customize the package to fit your timeline and specific moments you want captured.
